East Memorial Drive is more than a road—it’s a rhythm, a heartbeat, a living archive of stories from Stone Mountain to Shermantown. A Taste of East Memorial Drive is a bold celebration of that legacy. Through a documentary special and community-wide event ,we will showcase the soul of this corridor—its authentic cuisine, rich culture, and diverse community—through the voices of residents, business owners, and changemakers.


The documentary, hosted by Brinca the Equalizer and produced by the East Memorial Drive Revitalization Foundation (EMDRF), travels down East Memorial Drive, visiting diverse restaurants, historic landmarks, and interviewing local leaders. From Ledet Ethiopian Restaurant to Angie's Place, from Shermantown’s legacy to modern revitalization efforts, this is a story of heritage and hope.
