Services & Agreement

The Mooving Company (Holy Cow Services LLC) provides specialized senior moving services throughout Monmouth & Ocean County, New Jersey. Our services include assisted living transitions, memory care moves, senior downsizing, and room setup & settling in.

By booking our services, you confirm that you have the authority to make decisions regarding the move and agree to all terms stated on this page. If you are booking on behalf of another person (such as an elderly parent), you represent that you have the proper authorization.

Booking, Pricing & Payment

All estimates are based on information provided during consultation. Final pricing may change if the actual scope of work differs significantly from what was described, additional services are requested, or access issues require extra time.

A deposit may be required for larger moves. Final payment is due upon completion of the move. We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, Venmo, and Zelle.

Additional charges may apply for excessive stairs (more than 2 flights), long carry distances (over 75 feet), packing materials, furniture disassembly/reassembly, or waiting time beyond 15 minutes.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations made 72+ hours before the scheduled move will receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations made 48-72 hours before may result in 50% of the deposit being retained. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the move may result in the full deposit being retained.

Free rescheduling is available with 48+ hours notice, subject to availability. We understand that senior moves often involve unexpected health changes or facility availability issues — we will always work with you compassionately in these situations.

Liability & Damages

The Mooving Company maintains liability coverage for belongings damaged due to our negligence during handling. However, we are not liable for items packed by the customer, pre-existing damage, undisclosed valuable items, mechanical failure of appliances, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control.

We cannot transport hazardous materials, explosives, flammable liquids, perishable food, live animals, or illegal substances. Cash, jewelry, and important documents should be transported by you personally.

All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We will assess claims fairly and respond within 7 business days.
