JDew briefly served on the board of the Fountain Inn Symphony Orchestra, contributing to the organization’s mission of enriching the community through live orchestral performances and support for local arts and culture initiatives.
JDew served on the Board of Homes of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to rebuilding lives and communities through affordable housing, economic empowerment, and job training. During his tenure, the organization developed over 525 homes and supported the transformation of 290 men through its residential and discipleship programs. JDew supported the mission to live out the call of Matthew 25 and 28, meeting physical needs while fostering spiritual growth and long-term life change. Each spring, JDew was master of ceremonies for the annual fundraising gala, helping to champion the mission and help in strategic donation initiatives.
JDew served on the executive committee of the Greenville Little Theatre Board, now Greenville Theatre, contributing to arts and culture leadership. As vice-chair in 2013 and chair in 2014, he supported executive decisions and led marketing efforts, with a strong focus on expanding the theatre’s reach through social media.
