Canine Needs are proud to announce we will be hosting the 7 Day Dog Trainer and Behaviourist Course with world renowned dog trainer John Rogerson at Merkaba Community in Portugal next Spring 27 April to 3 May 2019.

John should need no introduction to anyone currently engaged in the study of canine behaviour and training as he is one of the most sought after speakers on the subject in the world today. In 2009 John was delighted when he was awarded his Kennel Club Accreditation at a ceremony at the Kennel Club in London.

John is a founder member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors, is the founder of Support Dogs and a founder member of the Kennel Club accreditation scheme for dog trainers and behaviourists.

Canine Needs is a successful, London based dog training and behaviour company established in 2011.

Your host, Hannah Greeno, founder of Canine Needs, has herself completed this course and has gone on to achieve success working and operating her dog business, which is highly recommended and well known for its excellent level of customer service.

Merkaba Community is an off grid retreat space aiming towards self sustainability and dedicated to personal growth and development in a beautiful mountain setting. Rooms are located in two large, geodesic domes with stunning views. The menu is all organic and local vegetarian food

Canine Needs Dog Training & Behaviour presents THE 5 DAY INTRODUCTION COURSE

Who is this course for?

Designed for people who want to become dog trainers or behaviourists. Also ideal for those working with dogs in any field or as a serious hobby.

Course format: Both theory and practical with lectures and opportunities to train local dogs.

Fees: £440 (deposit £150 + two payments of £145). Payment plan available

Accommodation options (self-catered/Airbnb) nearby.

Travel: Fly to Lisbon or Porto then train/bus to local station (20 min taxi to site)

ONLINE TRAINING COURSE FOR DOG TRAINERS

6 week course – £240

Weekly content releases, Tuesday Q&A calls, Wednesday quizzes. Certificate of completion and optional shadowing sessions in London (£25/hr).

DOG WALKERS – CN TRAINED DOG HANDLER

Elevate from ordinary dog walker to Canine Needs Trained Dog Handler. Learn control, communication, and professional skills.

Investment: £185 includes a 1-hour park walk training session, Facebook support group, and completion certificate.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Maintain training taught by CN trainers and reinforce key behaviours (loose lead walking, recall, sit/down/stay, etc.). Optional recommended handler status (£50/client).
