Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Feature Focus Media Co (“we,” “us,” “our”) to clients (“you,” “your”) for videography, photography, and social media content creation. By booking services, signing a service agreement, or using our website (order.featurefocusmedia.ca), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are to be read in conjunction with any separate service agreement signed between you and Feature Focus Media Co.

2. Services

Feature Focus Media Co provides:

Short-form videography and photography content for small businesses.

Social media content creation and posting management (via Meta Business accounts).

Analytics review and monthly content planning (“gameplan”) sessions.

Services may be provided on a monthly retainer basis or as standalone projects, as outlined in the applicable service agreement.

3. Booking, Payment, and Cancellations

Clients may book services through Go High Level, email, phone, or direct contact.

Payment Terms: Full payment upfront is standard. Monthly payment plans require pre-authorization through Stripe to automatically charge every 30 days.

Refund Policy: A three (3) day money-back guarantee applies only to monthly retainer packages if the client changes their mind before work has commenced. No refunds for work already completed.

Rescheduling: Shoot reschedules require 48 hours’ notice and should only be used for emergencies. Reschedules may affect project timelines but will be accommodated when possible.

4. Deliverables and Usage Rights

Deliverables include edited videos, edited photos, and social media posts (if posting services are included).

Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use content for marketing on their own social media platforms and websites only.

Clients may not: Alter, resell, or redistribute content outside of their business.

Feature Focus Media Co reserves the right to use produced content in our marketing portfolio, including website, social media, and promotional materials.

5. Delivery and Revisions

Typical delivery of content may take up to 14 days; some content may be delivered sooner.

Revisions: Revisions are limited to one round per deliverable and must be requested within three (3) business days of delivery. Revision requests are only for content that conflicts with the client’s brand image. Additional revisions beyond the scope above may incur an hourly fee.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Prepare locations, props, and participants for filming as required.

Ensure timely access and cooperation of staff or representatives during shoots.

Obtain any necessary permissions or permits for locations used in content production.

Acknowledge that unfavorable weather or unforeseen conditions may require rescheduling without penalty to Feature Focus Media Co.

7. Non-Payment and Default

Services may be suspended if payment is not received according to the agreed schedule.

For clients on a monthly payment plan, failure to pay on time may result in: Suspension of services Additional fees as outlined in the service agreement

Clients remain liable for the full contracted amount, regardless of service suspension due to non-payment.

8. Limitation of Liability

Feature Focus Media Co is not responsible for business revenue, marketing results, or social media performance resulting from the use of delivered content.

Feature Focus Media Co will make reasonable efforts to deliver content on schedule but is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including weather, equipment failure, or third-party platform outages.

All services are provided “as-is,” and liability for damages is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the services in question.

9. Website and Platform Use

Access to the Feature Focus Media Co website is provided for informational and service booking purposes only.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute website content, branding, or materials without written permission.

Users agree to comply with all applicable laws when using our website and services.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.

Any disputes arising under these Terms or related to services will be addressed through negotiation first between the parties.

If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or court proceedings in British Columbia.

11. Amendments

Feature Focus Media Co reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on order.featurefocusmedia.ca with the revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
