This non-shooting course is a 4 hour training class.


Designed to educate responsible citizens on the legal and ethical aspects of carrying a concealed weapon in the state of Arizona.

No experience is needed.

Course Information

Designed for Arizona adult residents who are interested in concealed carry, this course will teach you:

✅ Arizona Laws related to concealed carry and use of force.

✅ Legal Definitions of justifiable self-defense and deadly force.

✅ Situational Awareness and mental readiness strategies.

✅ Interacting with Law Enforcement - how to during and after a self defense incident.

✅ Planning for the Legal Aftermath of a defensive encounter.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive all necessary documentation to apply for their Arizona CCW permit through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The DPS Permit Requirements are as follows:

  • Be 21 years of age

  • US Citizen or Lawful Resident

  • Submit to a Criminal Background Check

  • No Felony Convictions

  • Not be a Prohibited Possessor

  • No Domestic Violence Convictions

  • Not a Substance Abuser

Fingerprinting services will be available onsite at a discounted rate during class to simplify the application process.
