Freshen Up Your Home with Orange Peels

1. Freshen Your Garbage Disposal:

What You Need:

5-6 orange peels

A pot of water

Spices (like cloves, cinnamon, star anise, or peppermint)

Instructions:

Boil the orange peels in a pot of water.

Add your favorite spices.

Let it simmer until the water reduces a bit.

Pour the mixture into an open container or jar to use as a deodorizer in your home.

2. Use Dried Orange Peels for Body Care:

Drying Orange Peels:

Spread orange peels in a single layer on cookie sheet.

Place in the oven at 200°F for 35-40 minutes.

Let them cool to room temperature.

Blend or grind the dried peels into a fine powder.

a. Body Scrub:

Ingredients:

Dried orange peel powder

Coconut oil or milk (based on your skin type)

Instructions:

Mix a small amount of the orange peel powder with coconut oil for dry skin or milk for oily skin to make a paste.

Apply to areas you want to soften.

Rinse off with warm water, then splash with cold water to close your pores.

Enjoy soft and smooth skin!

b. Facial Scrub:

Ingredients:

Dried orange peel powder

Dried chickpeas (ground into powder)

Coconut oil or milk (based on your skin type)

Instructions:

Mix equal parts of dried orange peel powder and ground chickpea powder.

Add a bit of coconut oil if your skin is dry, or milk if it’s oily.

Apply to your face, neck, and collarbone.

Let it dry, then use a warm, damp cloth to wipe it off.

Finish with a splash of cold water to close your pores, helping to keep toxins out.
