This course equips participants with the skills to recognize potential threats, assess risks, and make informed decisions in dynamic situations. Students will learn by using research-based theory and best practices to evaluate their surroundings, recognize behavioral warning signs, and respond proactively to potential threats through proactive observation, critical thinking, and the analysis of environmental cues to prevent incidents before they escalate. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the behavioral indicators of violence, including hostile intent, suspicious behavior, and potential hazards in public and private settings.
