FAQs Continued

Do I need a passport for my trip?

For international travel, a valid passport is required and should typically be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Your name must match your travel documents exactly to avoid issues.

What should I pack for my trip?

Packing depends on your destination and travel style, but we provide detailed packing guides to help you prepare with confidence. These include essentials, travel tips, and even romantic extras for couples.

We will provide you with our complete packing checklist here:

Can I book excursions and activities in advance?

Yes, and it is highly recommended. Many popular excursions sell out quickly, especially in peak seasons. Booking in advance allows you to secure your preferred experiences and plan your itinerary ahead of time.

What information should I share with family before traveling?

It is recommended to leave a copy of your itinerary and emergency contact details with a trusted family member or friend. This ensures someone can assist if needed while you are traveling.

We will provide you with an itinerary and emergency contact document.

How do you help plan special trips like weddings or anniversaries?

We specialize in milestone travel experiences including destination weddings, vow renewals, honeymoons, and anniversary celebrations. From selecting the perfect destination to coordinating travel for guests, we help create a seamless and meaningful experience.

What if I’m going on a cruise?

Cruises require a bit of preparation, including online check-in, boarding documentation, and planning excursions. We guide you through the entire process to ensure a smooth experience from port to destination.  We will provide you with a cruise preparation guide here.

Is there anything I should do for safety while traveling internationally?

Yes. We recommend enrolling in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), which allows U.S. embassies to contact you in case of emergencies and provides important travel alerts.  There is a document that we can provide you with if you chose to enroll in this program.

What if I don’t know exactly what I want yet?

That’s completely fine. Many clients come to us with ideas rather than a finalized plan. Our process is designed to guide you through destination options, experiences, and recommendations based on your preferences.

We help you move from “I’m not sure” to “this is exactly what I want.”

Do you help with special requests or celebrations?

Yes. We coordinate special requests such as anniversary celebrations, honeymoon amenities, room preferences, dietary needs, and personalized experiences to make your trip meaningful and memorable.  These details are collected during the booking process to ensure everything is arranged in advance.

What happens if my flight is delayed or canceled?

Airlines are responsible for flight disruptions. We recommend downloading your airline’s mobile app and enabling notifications for real-time updates. In case of delays or cancellations, contact the airline directly for the fastest assistance. We are available to support you as needed.

Entry Requirements / Visas / Health Requirements

Some destinations require passports, visas, entry forms, or health documentation. Requirements vary by country and can change. Clients are responsible for verifying entry requirements, and we will provide guidance and resources to help you prepare.

Credit Cards, Holds & Resort Fees

People act shocked when hotels hold $500 like it’s a crime.

Will hotels or resorts require a credit card on file?

Yes. Most hotels and resorts require a credit card at check-in for incidentals such as room charges, dining, or damages. Temporary holds may be placed and released after your stay.

Baggage Policies

Are baggage fees included in my package?

Baggage policies vary by airline and fare type. Some fares include checked bags, while others may require additional fees. We recommend reviewing your airline’s baggage policy prior to departure.

Check-In / Check-Out Expectations

People show up at 9AM expecting a suite and champagne.

What time can I check in and out of my hotel or resort?

Standard check-in is typically in the afternoon, and check-out is usually in the morning. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request but are not guaranteed.

Weather & Seasonal Expectations

Nobody researches weather properly. They just show up offended.

How do I know the best time to travel to my destination?

We provide guidance on ideal travel seasons, weather patterns, and peak travel times so you can make informed decisions when selecting your travel dates.
