Hello, I am Steven Martinez owner of United Financial Group. Started UFG in 2020. Even though covid 19 was bringing everything down, I decided to take a leap of faith and started my own credit repair business. I was born in New York on May 1993. At the age of 4, my parents decide to move to Philadelphia Pennsylvania, where I was raised.
My parents owned a mixed-used commercial property (is a building that included residential and commercial space) in north Philadelphia. If you’re from Philly, you know this is one of the worst areas to grow up in.
Growing up I saw; drug used & selling, see people pasasing away, robberies, and etc.. We lived on the 2nd floor and my parents had a groceries store on the 1st floor. At the age of 8 I started to work in my parents’ grocery store. That’s where my ambitious started.
By the time I was 13 years old I already knew how to restock, order inventory, cooked, and work in the cashier. I pretty much knew how to run the whole store on my own. I would go to school in during the day and work at our family store afterschool.
In 2015 I started to work for a trucking company where we would deliver home appliances. In 2016 I opened S & A Express Home Delivery. S & A took me to work in many different states; Michigan, Ohio (I moved to Ohio due to so much work), Gorgia, and Florida.
S & A was great, but moving around was hard, the hardest part was actually doing the work. I say this because even though I had 7 trucks working I was working next to my employee’s for over 7 years. During our home deliveries, we would have to wear shoulder dollies and carry refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers.
