God’s Love Crusading the Central West

God’s Love Crusading the Central West

April 01, 20268 min read

The 72 hours of Prayer, Praise and Worship is first and foremost about ministering to the Lord Himself. Scripture shows us that when God’s people minister to Him, He responds with direction, commissioning, and divine purpose.

This is reflecting a great truth that’s revealed in the book of Acts chapter 13 where they ministered to the Lord, and the Holy Ghost spoke and set aside Paul and Barnabas for that to which they had been called.

So, to minister to the Lord is to recognise that He is the one who is issuing the commands to build His church. That’s what we see in the church at Antioch – a church where the elders were ministering to Him and the Lord had an assignment for them and said “…separate to Me Paul and Barnabas…” and so they did, and the mission of Paul and Barnabas began.

God speaks and instructs

In like manner, God gave me a call and instruction which has brought me to this time and this place. Again in like manner, the call and instruction came from a personal time of ministering to the Lord which was followed by an instruction to me.

In 1984, I had a call given to me, Barry Cunnington, to this nation when I was prayed for by Harry Westcott at Vision Ministries in Sydney. The impartation of that call, that grace, came to me and it was the Gospel to the nation, the Gospel to Australia. It took ten years for me to be prepared by the Holy Ghost and the Word of God and for that call to be activated.

In 1994 thus began Barry and Sandra Cunnington, the Crusaders – first on the Gold Coast, then throughout the nation of Australia and into the nations. This now is history. This began the Tent of Promise Incorporated Association which has been functioning, and still is, after 32 years.

Now a new chapter has come into my life with the relaunching of the Promise Faith Centre Churches International (PFCCI). The Lord had spoken to me to return to where I had been sent out from on the Gold Coast, to the River Church, and there I was sent out again, only this time, not as the Tent of Promise, but as the Promise Faith Centre Churches International.

There is a short video of me speaking at that event which happened at the River Church, on Australia’s Gold Coast, and that is inserted here. In this video, I allude to the fact that
God had spoken to me and reminded me of Jeremiah 29:11-14. God had the plan and told me.

God fulfills His promise and returns me to the Central West of NSW

The Lord spoke to me in Queensland in September 2025 to lease Engedi, a ministry facility at Alectown, NSW, the former headquarters of Harry Westcott’s Vision Ministries.

These facilities are now the headquarters of Promise Faith Centre Churches International, as well as the International Communion of Charismatic Churches through which I am consecrated as the Presiding Bishop for Australia/Pacific.

A launching of this new ministry headquarters took place on the 14th of March 2026. A video of that launch is inserted here on this website.

In the lead up to the launch of PFCCI, one of my team members, Olivia de’Fraine, was talking to me about a Prayer, Praise and Worship time at the new facilities following the launch. This suggestion sat well with me. Let me explain.

God works in patterns and when He’s building His church, He has a pattern. When He commissions, as in the Old Testament, when Solomon built the temple, it was just a building. Just the same, the facilities which we have leased – they are just buildings – but they are buildings to be occupied by God’s people and His presence. It was at the dedication of the Temple that the presence of God came and rested, remained.

It’s about His Presence and Purpose

Recently, we launched the ministry of PFCCI afresh at these new facilities.

During the dedication of the temple in Solomon’s day, sacrifices were made, the blood was shed, the covenant was made and God’s Presence filled the temple as the people worshipped and were of one mind, one accord in one place. 2 Chronicles 7:1-21

This pattern is again seen with the building of the Tabernacle of David. Before the Tabernacle was erected, sacrifices took place and then the priests, the musicians, the singers, the worshippers took their place in the Tabernacle and the Glory of the Lord filled the place. 1 Chronicles 16 & 17

In like manner, the 72 hours of Prayer, Praise and Worship at the facilities of PFCCI is the dedication and consecration of the facilities to the glory of God.

Love poured out

We are welcoming the Holy Spirit, the Glory of God, and God’s people into His house – a house of prayer for all nations. We are going to enter the house with praise and with worship, like the Tabernacle of David. And we are also going to have a time of reflection remembering the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ as we share communion at the commencement of this event. The communion table will stay available for those who are taking part in the 72 hours of Prayer, Praise and Worship.

As people arrive, Olivia and Priscilla have planned to wash the feet of those in attendance. What exactly does this represent? This mirrors that occasion when Jesus washed the disciples’ feet and also reflects another occasion where a woman came into the presence of Jesus and washed his feet with the tears of her love and the sacrifice of extravagant generosity and giving which she poured out on Jesus our Saviour.

Ministering to the Lord

This will then lead into the full program of non-stop Prayer, Praise and Worship where we focus on ministering to the Lord Himself. This is not a time of ministry to one another. It is a time of ministry exclusively to the Lord in prayer.

We will be putting Him in remembrance of His promises as we pray and speak back to Him, in faith, those promises he has made – He is the Promise Keeper – and worshipping and praising Him in purity of heart and mind. One heart, one mind, one accord, in one place because He is the worthy Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

In this time of reflection, we, as kings and priests to our God, are bringing the cry of our people in this Southland of the Holy Spirit. This cry is the cry of the righteous that the Lord hears and delivers. Psalm 34:17. Our cry at this time is for the salvation of our nation, the rescuing of our people, the healing of our land. For it is written “If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Our Expectations

What do we expect as an outcome of this consecration and sacrifice of worship and prayer? We expect God to respond by issuing assignments to his people here at this event and wherever they are across this nation that God will issue mission assignments.

Because this is what we see in Acts 13 at Antioch. We know that this is what God will do. He will give assignments to people, His people, to mission, and this mission will be to our nation, our land, to heal our land to bring the Gospel to this nation to heal our land our people.

Simply our expectation is that the Lord Jesus will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and let His river of life flow across this nation, for wherever the Spirit of the Lord flows, life comes.

Speaking of our nation, the Southland of the Holy Spirit

Our love for God and His word encourages us to pursue a life surrendered to God. We consider how God’s grace, the Gospel, defeated the Emperor of the Roman Empire, it reveals to us the superpower of the Word of God and prayer.

Unwavering faith in the love of God

Our faith isn’t in faith. It is faith in the love of God in Christ Jesus. The difference between selfish ambition and God’s love is that God’s grace is more powerful than politics, more powerful than the empires of man.

We are working with the Lord Jesus as He builds His church by the power of His love. Prayer moves mountains. Our superpower is prayer, praise and worship. As we minister to Him, He works and we enter into rest. Hebrews 4:1-7. We trust in His works of love.

As we minister to Him it will bring forth a word of his love, his unfailing love. He will instruct us and tell us what to do. He will tell us the way to go as we come and minister to Him in an attitude of gratitude and with thanksgiving. “In everything give thanks and always rejoice”, the Scripture says. As we express this in prayer, praise and worship, I believe His love will be released in us and through us “as a river” as we go forth and crusade this nation in God’s love.

God’s Love Crusades.

Praise the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endures forever.

“And the glory of the Lord filled the temple.”
