Padilla Rebukes Castro: “Hindi Trabaho ng Palace Spokesperson ang Magpanggap na NBI.”
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Robin Padilla didn’t hold back.

“Not your job to ask questions.”

The problem?
Co’s videos implicated big names — President Bongbong Marcos Jr. and Congressman Sandro Marcos — in billions worth of insertions under the flood control projects probe.
At dahil lumalalim ang iskandalo, parang biglang nagshift ang narrative:
From “Sino ang sangkot?”
to “Iba buhok niya, fake ’yan!”
Pero gaya ng sabi ni Padilla:
“May kanya-kanya tayong mandato.
This is the classic pattern:
When the truth burns,
They attack the messenger… or the messenger’s haircut.
Padilla Grills Palace on BBM “Troll Army” Recording: Totoo ba ‘to o Joke lang daw?
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Robin Padilla pressed Palace officials after a viral audio clip surfaced allegedly featuring President Bongbong Marcos saying:
“Naghahire ako ng libo-libong troll army… recording ’to ha.”
Padilla, during budget deliberations, didn’t let it slide. He asked the Palace point-blank:
“Totoo ba ’to? Sino ’to?
But the Palace explanation?
A classic damage-control pirouette:
“It was a joke… kasi tinitira siya ng trolls… kunwari may sarili siyang troll army.”
A joke daw.
Libo-libong troll army.
During a national crisis.
Recorded.
At inuulit: “Recording ’to ha.”
The explanation itself is an admission of the culture this administration lives in:
Instead of solving trolls, they joke about becoming one.
Padilla wasn’t convinced. He reminded them this isn’t a small matter:
Pero the Palace insisted the President was only “counter-trolling.”
And more importantly —
Bakit tayo umaabot sa punto na ‘troll army’ is even part of our national vocabulary?
Leadership built on jokes, excuses, and troll narratives?
The question remains:
