I was born and raised in Brawley, California, I lettered in basketball, football and track. In 2007, I traveled to LA to attend Whittier College, where I received my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, while participating in intercollegiate football as a two year starter at linebacker and team captain. After suffering a knee injury my freshman year, I attended several months of physical therapy rehabilitation, where my interest in this profession developed, due to the diversity in patient population I saw around me.

I received my professional degree from Mount St. Marys University, where I obtained my Doctorate in Physical therapy. Following graduation in 2015, I was selected to participate in an Orthopedic Residency through Kaiser Permanente, where I completed my Orthopedic Speciality. While participating in my residency program, I worked at a Sports and Performance physical therapy clinic in West LA where I treated a diverse patient population ranging from high school, collegiate, and professional athletes. I was able to gain valuable knowledge working with a variety of sports including crossfit, soccer, football, basketball, MMT, tennis, baseball, and runners. During my time in West LA, I was able to participate in seasonal coverage for the LA Sparks and United States Tennis Association as well.

My treatment philosophy is to combine movement re-training, manual therapy (IASTM, cupping) and functional strengthening to allow my patients of all ages and activity levels to get back to doing what they love..
