TERMS OF SERVICE

Chicago Diligent Cleaning Services LLC

By using this website and/or booking services with Chicago Diligent Cleaning Services LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not book services with us.

1. Booking Confirmation

Booking online does not guarantee your appointment. You will receive confirmation by email or phone once your appointment is approved.

To reserve your date and time, a $70 deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable but will be applied toward your total service cost.

2. Cleaning Crew

We typically send teams of two or more cleaners depending on the size and complexity of the job.

All staff are background-checked and properly trained.

3. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service due to:

  • Safety concerns

  • Unsanitary conditions

  • Aggressive behavior or animals

  • Weapons on premises

  • Severe clutter

  • Disconnected utilities

If a job is deemed unreasonable upon arrival, the team may refuse service and the cancellation fee will apply.

4. Cleaning Day Preparation

Your price assumes cleaners can focus on cleaning. Please tidy up surfaces and floors before arrival.

If you want cleaners to organize or pick up items, this must be arranged in advance and may result in additional charges.

5. Add-On Services (Extra Charge)

  • Interior windows & sills

  • Blinds

  • Baseboards

  • Dishes

  • Inside cabinets

  • Inside oven

  • Inside fridge

  • Garage sweep

  • Patio cleaning

  • Carpet washing

6. Pets

We work around pets, but if an animal becomes a safety concern, our staff may leave and the cancellation policy applies.

7. Service Fees & Pricing Adjustments

Prices are based on information provided. If actual conditions require significantly more time, we reserve the right to adjust pricing or decline service.

We may reevaluate pricing at any time based on time, condition, or scope changes.

8. Payments

  • A $70 deposit is required to book

  • Remaining balance is due on the day of service

  • We accept cash, check, or credit card

9. Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds.

If something is missed, notify us within 24 hours and we will return to fix the issue at no charge.

10. Recurring Service Discounts

Recurring discounts begin after the first cleaning. Skipped or reduced frequency resets pricing.

11. Rate Increases

Rates may change due to:

  • Frequency changes

  • Remodels

  • Change in occupancy

  • Furniture increases

  • Condition changes

Annual increases may occur and will not exceed 8% per year.

12. Lockouts

If we cannot access your home and cannot reach you within 20 minutes, the visit is skipped and a $70 lockout fee is charged.

13. Rescheduling & Cancellations

We require 48 hours notice. Otherwise, a $70 cancellation fee applies.

14. Alarm Systems

Please disable alarms or provide instructions. Failure may result in lockout fees.

15. Use of Client Vacuum

If we use your vacuum, we are not responsible for damage or malfunction.

16. Cleaning Supplies

We provide all supplies. If you require special or client-supplied products, we are not responsible for any damage caused by them.

17. Items We Cannot Clean

We do not perform:

  • Mold remediation

  • Hoarding cleanup

  • Biohazards (blood, feces, vomit, urine, etc.)

  • Animal waste areas

18. Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

  • We do not climb higher than a step stool

  • We do not move items over 35 lbs

  • Please move heavy items in advance if you want behind them cleaned

19. Breakage, Damage & Loss Policy

We are insured. We are not responsible for:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper installation

  • Undisclosed fragile items

  • Artwork, collectibles, heirlooms not disclosed in advance

Damage must be reported within 24 hours.

20. Arrival Window

Appointments are scheduled between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Times are not guaranteed, though we make best efforts.

21. Holidays

We do not operate on:

  • New Year’s Day

  • New Year’s Eve

  • Independence Day

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

22. Inclement Weather

We may close if weather conditions make travel unsafe.

23. Key Release

Keys are securely stored. If clients leave keys in unsecured locations, we are not liable for loss or theft.

Keys are returned within 48 hours of termination.

24. Non-Solicitation

Clients agree not to hire or solicit our employees during service or for 12 months after termination.

25. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

26. Changes to Terms

Chicago Diligent Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice.
