Our story began in 1989 when local legend and Army Veteran Paul Carroll—raised in Modesto, CA—launched Carrollton Mortgage with his wife, Pat Carroll raised in Walnut Creek, CA. Paul believed in doing the right thing for people. He often said, "It’s more important to take care of our clients than to charge the highest costs like the big guys do." Over three decades later, we still feel the same way.

Our longevity—family-owned and operated for more than 35 years—is a rarity in today’s mortgage industry. And we believe that longevity is proof that Paul’s philosophy of service, integrity, and putting people first works.

Paul and Pat Carroll founded Carrollton Mortgage Co. on the pillars of honesty, client-focused decisions, hard work, and adaptability. A Second-Generation with the Same Mission

Carrollton Mortgage is now led by Adam and Heather Weinert. Heather (Carroll) remembers her parents opening Carrollton Mortgage when she was in second grade at Empire Elementary School. She studied Business Administration and Spanish at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, always planning to carry the family legacy forward.

In 2008, Heather met Adam Weinert at a mortgage industry mixer at Galletto Ristorante. A seasoned loan officer since 1999, Adam shared her passion for ethical lending and community. They hit it off—both personally and professionally. Today, they lead Carrollton Mortgage with the same warmth, honesty, and family-first spirit that started it all.

As the current president, Adam brings a personal philosophy that mirrors the Carrolls’: stay honest, work hard, adapt, and always put the client first. We believe that by staying true to these values, we’ll continue to grow while helping our clients reach their financial goals with confidence and peace of mind.
