By becoming a Community Partner with CDBA, you (“Partner”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to ensure a positive, collaborative, and professional relationship between the Partner and CDBA.
1. Eligibility
Partners must be legal entities, registered businesses, nonprofit organizations, or individual professionals aligned with CDBA’s mission.
All Partners must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the application or registration process.
2. Partnership Purpose
CDBA Community Partners aim to collaborate, share resources, and strengthen the local business community.
Partners may participate in networking events, co-marketing opportunities, workshops, or other initiatives hosted or supported by CDBA.
3. Annual Partnership Fee
There is a $300 annual fee to become a Community Partner.
The fee must be paid in full upon registration and annually on the anniversary of the partnership.
Payment of the fee ensures access to all partner benefits, including networking, promotional opportunities, and resources provided by CDBA.
4. Partner Responsibilities
Partners agree to:
Represent themselves and their organization professionally in all interactions related to CDBA.
Actively participate in initiatives, events, or programs as agreed upon with CDBA.
Respect all members, partners, and participants of the CDBA community.
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and CDBA policies.
Maintain confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared by CDBA or other partners.
5. CDBA Responsibilities
CDBA will:
Provide partners with access to networking opportunities, events, and resources.
Offer promotional opportunities through CDBA channels when applicable.
Maintain a professional, collaborative, and inclusive environment for all partners.
Support partners in community initiatives that align with CDBA’s mission.
6. Use of Brand and Marketing
Partners may reference their Community Partner status in marketing materials only with prior written approval from CDBA.
CDBA retains all rights to its logos, branding, and intellectual property; these may not be used without permission.
7. Confidentiality
Partners may have access to confidential business or personal information from CDBA or its members.
All confidential information must remain private and used solely for partnership-related purposes.
8. Term and Termination
The partnership begins on the effective date and continues until either party provides written notice of termination.
CDBA may terminate a partnership immediately if a partner breaches these terms, engages in unethical behavior, or acts in a manner detrimental to CDBA or its community.
The annual fee is non-refundable in the event of termination.
9. Liability
CDBA is not responsible for any loss, damage, or disputes arising from a partner’s participation in events or initiatives.
Partners agree to hold CDBA harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their own actions or omissions.
10. Non-Exclusivity
Community Partnership does not imply exclusivity. Partners are free to engage in similar partnerships with other organizations.
11. Amendments
CDBA reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Partners will be notified of significant changes. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
