Family, nature and a sense of adventure brought us to Estes Park, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park with an abundance of year-round activities.
Sharing the incredible nature that exists around one of our country’s most beautiful National Parks has been our pleasure since 2011 when we purchased our home.
Our family of five loves the outdoors, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing and shopping in town. We reside in Yorktown Virginia, but love to escape to the peace, tranquility and beauty of the Colorado Rockies as often as we can.

Please start a load of towels in the wash, but do not strip the bedding. Additionally, we kindly ask that you turn off all lights and A/C, lock all doors and windows, and follow any further check-out instructions provided in the manual.

What are the general house rules?
Our home is designed to comfortably accommodate a maximum occupancy of 20 guests, and we are happy to welcome both children and infants to the property.
To maintain a high standard for all visitors, we require the primary renter to be at least 26 years of age.
Smoking allowed in driveway ONLY. No smoking near any natural areas or on decks. All debris must be disposed of properly and should not be left loose in the garbage.
the property is unfortunately wheelchair inaccessible. Lower level area would be the only area accessible for a wheelchair. No steps from the garage into the downstairs area of the home.
Additionally, while we love animals, pets are not allowed during your stay.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. This gives us time to prepare the house properly between guests.
Can I check-in early or check out late?
We do our best to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs when we can, but availability depends on our booking schedule. We'll know for sure 72 hours before your arrival. If you'd like to extend your time here, just ask—we're happy to work with you when possible.
What safety precautions and measures are in place?
We prioritize your well-being and have implemented several safety measures throughout the property to ensure a secure stay.
Our home is fully equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in every bedroom, sleeping area, and living space, along with fire extinguishers conveniently located in the kitchen and outside near the fire pit and grill.
In the event of an emergency, we provide immediate access to fire, medical, and police contacts. We also clearly outline our emergency exit routes, which include two accessible doors on the lower level and three on the upper level.
For added security, the property is equipped with a deadbolt lock and comprehensive exterior lighting.
Additionally, we utilize outdoor cameras, which monitor the driveway, yard, and street for snowplowing and trash maintenanc, as well as a noise monitor to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all our guests.
We are committed to maintaining a clean and healthy environment through our enhanced cleaning practices. This includes the use of common surface disinfectants, thorough cleaning of all high-touch areas, and the use of specialized cleaning products. To ensure the home is fresh and sanitized for your arrival, we also make it a priority to air out the home by opening doors and windows between stays.
Can I host an event or celebration at your home?
Small, low-key celebrations with your group are fine: birthday dinners, anniversary toasts, that sort of thing. We typically don't allow large parties, events, or outside guests beyond your booking party. If you're planning something specific, just run it by us and we'll go from there!
