You have chosen The Toni Morrison Package, which consists of 16 hours with your Author-Mentor, broken into 8 sessions, to be spread over the following twelve months. A session is for two hours: one hour for your mentor to read and mark up your submission, and one hour for you to discuss it with the mentor on FaceTime or Zoom (or a mutually-agreed upon service). When you speak with your mentor the first time, you will settle upon your first meeting and set up your schedule. Your mentor will let you know the amount of time she/he/they will need to read the submission (though on average, you should submit the work approximately two weeks ahead of your scheduled meeting).

Each submission is for no more than 4000 words; so for your package, you have a total of 40,000 words to discuss with your mentor over the course of the nine months as you write your book. If, for example, you would like to tweak the package to have 3000 in one session and 5000 in another, you may discuss it with your mentor and adjust accordingly if it works for both parties. However, please keep your monthly submission to the agreed-upon word count.
