Creative Writing for Lawyers: 101

This six-week introductory course invites attorneys to step outside the bounds of legal writing and explore the expansive world of creative writing. Each session focuses on a distinct genre-fiction, memoir, scriptwriting, YA, and publishing-providing foundational tools and techniques for crafting complling narratives outside the four corners of the document. The course encourages participants to develop their unique voices, experiment with form, and consider the role of storytelling in all contexts, while having fun. We will also be visited by several guest authors. No prior creative writing experience required. Limited spaces available.
