Why should I get a direct primary care even when I have insurance?

Many patients prefer having access to a direct primary care doctor even when they have insurance, because of the following reasons:

- You have easy access to your same doctor after hours through email, text messaging

- Your doctor always has a comprehensive knowledge of your medical history and examination findings, this allows your doctor to make the right decision for your health every time you call or text

- You can schedule long appointments if needed

- Subscription services to direct primary care is sometimes cheaper than annual cost of copays of regular insurance

How much does it cost to be a member?

Modern Wellness Clinic offers a direct primary care model, here you receive comprehensive primary care services in the office. This is paid for by a 3 month, 6 month or yearly subscription fee, the fee includes all office visits and there are no co-pays. The fee could be paid by you or by your employer as part of a competitive employee health benefit. Additional services may be billed at checkout.

Do you offer after hours appointments?

Yes, we strive to provide some availability after hours, however we are unable to guarantee that we will always be available after hours. In such instances when we are unavailable, you may need to visit the urgent care or the ER.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Members will have access to their membership portal. After three month commitment is met, a 30 days notice is required for cancellation. No refunds for unused months or "discounted" services.

Can I get labs done in the Clinic at Modern Wellness Clinic?

We are able to provide labs in house, we are also able to contract out the labs for a low fee or no fee if available. You are able to use your current insurance as well.

Can I get referrals to see specialists if needed?

Yes, whenever you may need to see a specialist, Modern Wellness Clinic can refer you to the best specialist for your current situation. We have a network of specialists who we trust to give you the best care and help you with your medical needs.

Do you take insurance?

We may bill insurance for certain visits, which is why we include so much in our yearly membership. There are ways to combine our concierge service with insurance to add an extra benefit.

What if I don't have insurance?

We are a primary care practice that focuses on prevention and well-being. We welcome all patients to join Modern Wellness Clinic, insurance is not required.
