120,000 children in foster care are still
waiting for one thing: a family that says yes.

Every year, over 23,000 teens age out of the foster care system in the U.S., stepping into adulthood with little more than a garbage bag of their belongings—what many call “Black Trash Bag Day.” It’s not just a move; it’s a gut-wrenching reminder of how disposable they’ve been made to feel. With less than 3% earning a college degree and nearly 20% becoming instantly homeless, this transition isn’t a launch into freedom—it’s a freefall.
At Titan Impact Group, we believe no young person should enter adulthood with trauma in one hand and a trash bag in the other. We’re here to change that.

Chosen Forever exists to ensure that no one ages out, gives up, or gets left behind. Our mission is to provide love, dignity, and lifelong belonging for youth aging out of foster care, survivors of trauma, and families in crisis. We believe everyone deserves to be chosen—not just once, but forever.
This mission comes to life through The Bell Community Foundation, our operational and philanthropic arm. The foundation mobilizes churches, community leaders, and corporate partners to deliver wraparound support—from housing and life skills training to mentorship and employment pathways. Through this integrated model, we don’t just provide aid—we build sustainable ecosystems of hope and empowerment that change lives for generations.

At 18, Alex didn’t get a graduation party. He got a black trash bag.
After a childhood spent bouncing between foster homes, Alex aged out of the system with no family, no job, and no place to go. The system said, “You’re an adult now.” But no one taught him how to pay rent, apply for college, or even cook a meal. He carried everything he owned in a single backpack—and the weight of being unwanted in his heart.
“I didn’t age out—I was pushed out. And I’ve been trying to survive ever since.”
Every year, over 23,000 teens like Alex are left to face the world alone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. At ChosenForever.org, we believe every child deserves not just a home, but a forever family—no matter their age.

“Every hour, two children age out of foster care.”

Founder, Bell Community Foundation | Best-Selling Author | Advocate for Forever Families
Catherine Bell was adopted at age 16—an act that changed everything. Today, she is a five-time international best-selling author, speaker, and fierce advocate for children in the foster care system. Her mission is simple but bold: end Black Trash Bag Day in our lifetime.
After losing her husband and rebuilding from financial devastation, Catherine created 13 streams of income to protect her own children’s future. Now, through the Bell Community Foundation and Chosen Forever: The Power of One Yes, she’s turning that same grit, faith, and love into a movement—mobilizing churches, families, and everyday heroes to adopt, support, and stand up for the 120,000 children still waiting for someone to say yes.
If you’ve ever felt called to do something more, to be part of something bigger—this is it. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to say yes.

Every year, 23,000 youth age out of foster care with nothing but trauma in one hand and a trash bag in the other. We’re raising $42,000 to fund a documentary, team expansion, and book distribution campaign that will get Chosen Forever into churches, schools, and hearts nationwide—so more children find forever families.

This book isn’t just a story. It’s a movement. Discover how saying “yes” to one child can transform a life—and your own. Read real stories, dispel the myths, and take the first step in becoming part of the solution.
