We are not a Covered Entity under HIPAA; however, due to the nature of our operations, we may act as a Business Associate of Covered Entities or facilitate communications involving PHI. As such, TMWT Agency agrees to the following safeguards:
Privacy Safeguards: We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect PHI.
Minimum Necessary Rule: We access, use, and disclose the minimum necessary PHI required to perform our services.
Training: All staff members with access to PHI are trained on HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
Third-Party Agreements: We enter into HIPAA-compliant Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with financial services companies, providers, or partners that require the handling of PHI.

As a consumer, you have the following rights concerning your PHI:
The right to request a copy of your information
The right to request corrections to your records
The right to request restrictions on certain uses or disclosures
The right to revoke authorizations at any time, in writing

All electronic communication, form submissions, and record storage systems used by TMWT Agency are encrypted and password-protected. Our platforms comply with HIPAA Security Rule standards regarding access control, audit controls, and secure data transmission.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we implement extensive safeguards, TMWT Agency is not liable for data breaches beyond our control, including but not limited to third-party platforms, client-side errors, or unencrypted transmissions.
