PMCC - Terms & Conditions

I hereby fully release and discharge PMCC and any venues or properties it rents for events from any and all legal responsibility or liability for any personal, physical, or financial harm that may occur to me or my family members during or as a result of attending any event organized by PMCC. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims related to civil liability, personal injury, or bodily harm. I acknowledge and accept full responsibility for my own safety and the safety of my family members while attending these events, and I agree not to hold PMCC or its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, or volunteers liable for any such incidents.

Multimedia Consent:

I grant PMCC permission to capture and use photographs, videos, or other media that include images of myself or my family members taken during any event organized by PMCC. I understand that these media may be used solely for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, brochures, and other marketing materials. I acknowledge that I will not receive any compensation for the use of these images or media, and I waive any rights to inspect or approve the final product. This permission applies to both recorded and live-streamed media and is granted indefinitely. It may be revoked by providing written notice to PMCC for future use only; previously published media will not be withdrawn.

Collection of Information Agreement:

MUNICIPAL FREEDOM OF INFORMATION AND PROTECTION OF PRIVACY ACT:

Personal information on this form is collected under the legal authority of the Education Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.129 and Health Card Numbers Control Act, 1991. This information will be used for the purposes of: processing attendee registration, production of databases, fulfilling statistical and reporting requirements, contacting parent(s), guardian(s), etc., in case of emergency, and disclosing health-related information to the Medical Officer of Health when required. PMCC is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with all applicable legislation.

Communications:

I consent to receive administrative, promotional, and service-related communications related to PMCC's activities. I may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

Refund Policy:

All payments made to PMCC, including donations, program fees, and event registrations, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. As a registered charity, we rely on the generosity of our community to carry out our mission, and we thank you for your support.

1. Program/Event Cancellations

If PMCC cancels a program or event for any reason, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants, unless an alternative date is offered and accepted.

2. Participant Withdrawal

Refund requests due to participant withdrawal must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of the program or event. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this deadline or for failure to attend.

3. Donations and Tax Receipts

Charitable donations are non-refundable once a tax receipt has been issued. If a donation was made in error and a refund is requested before an official donation receipt is issued, the request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

We understand that there may be exceptional circumstances that warrant a refund. The following situations may be considered for such an exception:

A. Technical errors: If a donor encounters unforeseen technical issues during the donation process, leading to multiple or erroneous charges, we will review the case and consider issuing a refund.

B. Unauthorized transactions: In cases where a donor's credit card was fraudulently used without their consent, we will provide a refund upon verification.

Please note: Once a tax receipt has been issued and filed, we are unable to cancel or reverse the donation in compliance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations.

4. Special Circumstances

In the case of medical emergencies, unexpected hardship, or other extenuating circumstances, refund requests may be considered with appropriate documentation. All such requests are subject to review and are not guaranteed.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancel a Subscription

To request a refund or cancel a subscription, please email [email protected] with your full name, transaction details, and the reason for your request. If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method used via Stripe. The refunded amount will be the original amount minus any applicable transaction fees associated with the refund. This policy is subject to applicable laws and regulations governing non-profit organizations and charitable donations in our jurisdiction.
