The CEFER Institute in Barcelona can already look back on more than 45 years of history. Founded in 1977, initially as the first sperm bank in Spain and expanded into an IVF clinic in 1982, the CEFER Institute is one of the pioneers of reproductive medicine in Spain. The first egg donation was carried out here in 1993 and in 2001 the CEFER institute created the first egg bank in Spain. In addition, the CEFER Institute is the first clinic in Spain to offer IVF in the natural cycle. As a family business, the CEFER Institute has always deliberately avoided growing too much so as not to lose personal contact with patients. We attach great importance to individual support. All patients have their personal fertility doctor who takes care of them from the first consultation to the pregnancy test.
