A Thoughtful Money Plan Matters
Let’s acknowledge that the term starting with the letter ‘B’ (aka budget) isn’t always well-received.
Honestly, I’m not a fan either. It can feel restrictive, limiting, and negative – so for now I’ll opt for words like ‘plan’ ‘or ‘roadmap 🗺️' because that better reflects what we’re genuinely crafting with our finances.
Ok – now that that’s out of the way let’s talk about why having a plan for your money is important.
To put it into perspective, imagine you are building a 1000-piece puzzle 🧩 you get where I’m going?
Would you build the puzzle without knowing what the picture is supposed to be? Without a guide?
It would be a never-ending task! 😣
With that idea in mind - Why navigate through life spending money without purpose, without a plan, and without clear goals?
Building a puzzle takes time, patience, and persistence, same idea as a plan for your money.
Why is a money plan important?
It gives your money a purpose
It helps you spend on things that really matter to you
It helps you create specific goals
It brings peace of mind and confidence when making money decisions.
It bring clarity in knowing where your money is going
👉If you have tried to create a plan but gave up because it felt restrictive or it was just too hard to follow.
👉If you have tried to use apps (there are some good ones out there by the way) but it’s not working for you.
Maybe you’ve been trying to fit the wrong puzzle pieces together? ❌🧩🧩❌
If you are serious about getting serious with your money – CONGRATULATIONS! 🥳 It seriously makes me so happy for you!
I put together roadmap that can help you get started and its FREE – go to the ‘Free Resources’ tab on my website you’ll find the ‘budget roadmap’ --- I know I called it the ‘B’ word because that’s what most people know it by --- but YOU and I have a better picture of it now 😉
It takes grabbing the first puzzle piece to get started! Take that first step 🚶♂️🚶♀️ into creating your own money plan and stick with it.
