When the home arrives at the community, the first step is to position it up on its designated lot. The home has to be lined up properly and parked accordingly. When it is brought in it is still on wheels.

Once the home is in position it is raised, the wheels are removed and then it is placed. on block, leveled and securely anchored to meet safety standards and local HUD code requirements.

After the home is properly set, leveled and anchored, utillities may begin to get connected such as water and sewer and electric to ensure the home is fully functional. This usually happens within 3-4 days after the home is set

Electricians will run the electrical wiring from the ground to the home's electric panel. Once this work is complete, Oncor will come out and install an electric meter so the home can be powered on.

Front and back decks are built to provide safe and attractive access points to the home. The decks must always be skirted as well.

After water, sewer and electric are installed to the home, skirting gets installed around the base of the home to enhance appearance, improve insulation, and protect plumbing and under-home components. All skirting must be white.

A thorough inspection is completed to confirm that all utility connections, installations, and safety requirements are properly met.
