🎶🥁 Drumming Discoveries After-School Program | Tarrytown, NY 🥁🎶

Calling all rhythm-makers in Grades 3–5! This winter, come drum your heart out in a hands-on, high-energy program exploring percussion traditions from around the world.

Each week, students will dive into rhythms from the U.S., Latin America, Africa, and Cuba; learning through drum circles, hand drums, and even a real drum set! We’ll explore instruments like palitos, claves, guiros, bongos, and more, while discovering musical styles from jazz and rock ’n’ roll to African and Bembe rhythms.

Designed for both beginners and intermediate players, this class builds rhythm skills, confidence, and a love of global music.
