
Dr. Akinkoye Akinpelumi Olu Abraham is a distinguished Nigerian medical doctor, healthcare leader, and philanthropist, born on December 2, 1955, in Ondo City, Ondo State, into the respected Akinkoye Dynasty of the late Mr. and Mrs. Akinkoye Adesuyi. He is of Yoruba heritage and holds Nigerian nationality. He has been married for decades and is blessed with children, grandchildren, and many adopted children. He has resided in Minna for over 40 years, where his life’s work has been deeply rooted in community healthcare and service. Being a dedicated medical professional with extensive clinical, managerial, and leadership experience, Dr. Abraham established Top Medical Centre, Minna, in 1987, growing it into a 23-bed hospital committed to quality, affordable, and compassionate care. His vision extends beyond clinical practice, with plans to establish a non-governmental organization focused on healthcare and social welfare.
Education & Professional Training
Dr. Abraham began his education at LA Primary School, Akure, and Aquinas College, Akure, before earning his HSCE from Ibadan Polytechnic (1977). He obtained his MBBS from the University of Ibadan Medical School in 1983 and further strengthened his expertise with:
*Diploma in Ultrasound (2001)
*Diploma in Echocardiography (2015)
*Diploma in Family Medicine (2019).

His contributions to medical practice have earned him notable recognition, including:
*Fellowship of the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (FAGP, 2001)
*Lagos State NYSC National Merit Award (1983/1984).
