A tragedy at sea sets in motion the search for life’s true treasures, both in 1915 Ireland, when the funeral of Fenian Rossa fans the flames of revolution, and in America, where the clans begin a journey toward their destiny in Searchers, the first book of the series.

A historical tale based on England's hold over the Irish. Woven into the mystery are the Clansmen, with foresight to insure the future of their country. Brave and believable characters are the essence of the Searchers. Just started Entente, book two in the series and can't wait to see where the journey leads.

The wife met the author at a signing here recently and brought the first book of the series home signed for us. I got into right away, written well, interesting character development and the history is right in the money. I typically read non fiction history type of Faire however this was a good one that I knocked out on a long weekend. Book two is on its way, can’t wait to hear how it goes moving forward, looking forward to book two soon.

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Impressive research went into this novel. And I learned so much about England and the hold over Ireland, the Clans, and the pacts and secrets, and a little mythology woven in. I really liked the cast of characters and how their lives overlap. I'm not a real history buff, but when a great fictional story is interwoven, it makes learning fun.
