Fearful Times

Uncertain times are with us especially now with the outbreak of the Corona Virus COVID 19 infections world wide. Many things are being shared on multiple media sites and from various organizations and also from many indivivdual persons. Many of which are painting a very bleak picture of hopelessness. How do we navigate through all of this sea of information and find the truth? Once again, it is only the truth that will set us free emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically.

Bad news is that this is a microscopic enemy that can spread around the world with very little that we can do to stop it. As we have allready seen. We cannot stop the wind from blowing where it wishes to blow. Good news is that very few people have died from this virus compared to the regular flu virus. Bad news # 2 is that this virus is about 20 times more virulent and deadly than the regular flu virus and we need to realize that. Good news # 2 is that >80% of people infected with this virus walk away unaffected and totally normal. So instead of focussing on the coming disater and doom, lets focus on how we can be one of the 80% and not be affected by this virus.

There is no pharmaceutical treatment for this virus other than supportive treatments. The majority of people affected by this virus are those with compromised immune systems- the sick, the very young- the elderly, etc. So how do we keep ourselves from falling in to the immunocompromised group? By especially now talking a look at our life styles, especially what we eat on a daily basis. Yes we need to practice higher hygiene, wear masks and wash hands and disinfect things etc, but there is more. Now is the time to realize that a whole food plant based diet combined with daily exercise, plenty of water, good sleep, sufficient sunshine, hydrotherapy and Trust in the Great Physician, is our only hope. And what better situation is there for us, to put our trust in? There is none. So lets focus on that. A comprehensive life style approach and trust and prayer in the Great Physician. Exodus 15:26" If you listen carefully to the Lord your God, and do what is right in His eyes, if you pay attention to His commandments and keep all His decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you."

Just 2 brief testimonies.- Not many years ago, a viral outbreak took place in Kentucky amongst the race horse ranches and many very expensive race horses died from this viral infection. Some horse ranches hung garlic in their horse stables and around the horses necks and those horses never got sick and survived. Simple, yet profound. Yes sometimes grandma was correct.

And also in the early years of last century, with the outbreak of the Polio epidemic, with no treatment and no cure, some institutions used hydrotherapy on a patients. Many of these institutions were laughed to scorn by the main stream medical establisment, but many of those patients not only survived, but thrived while thousands of others died and became severely handicapped. So lets ot miss the obvious in search of that miracle cure. There is much that each person can do individually that willnot only help the community and curbing the spread of this virus, but that can greatly protect you personally.
