Machine Learning Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team to work

on a cutting-edge AI-based camera system that allows farmers to remotely monitor and check

their crops.

You will work closely with our team of experienced developers and data scientists to

establish infrastructure within our clients’ cloud platforms for computer vision inferencing. You

will also be responsible for implementing Yolov5 computer vision models into our clients’ AWS

and Azure cloud platforms for image inferencing, confirming that the computer vision platform

within our clients’ AWS and Azure cloud platforms is performing optimally and establishing

notification protocols within our clients’ AWS and Azure cloud platforms for the end-user.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a passion for technology, be comfortable

working in a fast-paced environment, and have a desire to learn and grow with a team that is

passionate about transforming agriculture with AI technology. The ideal candidate should also

have a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and cloud computing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish infrastructure within our clients’ AWS and Azure cloud platforms for computer vision inferencing.

  • Implement Yolov5 computer vision models into our clients’ AWS and Azure cloud platforms for image inferencing.

  • Confirm that computer vision platform within our clients’ AWS and Azure cloud platforms are performing optimally.

  • Establish notification protocols within our clients’ AWS and Azure cloud platforms for the end-user.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a portfolio of work to share

  • Knowledge of machine learning, computer vision, and cloud computing.

  • Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

  • Able to code in Python, Ruby and Node JS

LOCATION:

  • Remote

COMPENSATION:

  • 6-month hourly contract $30-$40/hr

  • Potential for Equity + Stock Options
