Irving, TX – August 21, 2024 – The Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed), previously recognized as AMDA, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Multiview, a leading provider of digital communications and marketing solutions for professional and trade associations. This partnership marks a significant step forward in PALTmed's commitment to expanding its reach and influence in post-acute and long-term care.

PALTmed is undergoing a rebranding initiative to better reflect the evolving field of post-acute and long-term care. The organization was initially formed in the 1970s for medical directors in nursing homes— but has since diversified its membership to include an interdisciplinary group featuring not just medical directors but attending physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, consultant pharmacists, and doctorly-prepared clinicians.

“Our association is dedicated to the many professionals working in post-acute and long-term care," said PALTmed Executive Director Michelle Zinnert, CAE. “We are here for them for everything they need—an advocate on the state and national levels, a source for cutting-edge education, a place to interact with colleagues all over the country, and more.”

PALTmed's decision to collaborate with Multiview was driven by the need to address declining membership and to affirm and build trust for individuals seeking compassionate, quality care for a loved one. By leveraging Multiview's advanced digital publishing platform, PALTmed aims to streamline its communication efforts, increase engagement, and ultimately, grow its membership base. The partnership is also expected to significantly boost the organization's revenue from digital assets, enabling PALTmed to fund critical programs and initiatives.

Other key benefits of this partnership include:

  • Enhanced Digital Outreach: PALTmed will utilize Multiview's in-house editorial team to craft professional newsletters, freeing staff time and allowing for more targeted and impactful communications.

  • Expanded Reach: Multiview’s expansive network will jump-start PALTmed’s initiative to grow its member base to reach the next generation of professionals in the post-acute and long-term care field.

  • Regulatory Support: With Multiview's communication tools, PALTmed will be better equipped to keep its members informed about the latest legislative and regulatory changes impacting the post-acute and long-term care industry, ensuring that clinicians are always up-to-date and compliant with evolving standards.

"We are a small but mighty team and partnering with Multiview allows us to be more efficient and opens the door to take on new and exciting projects," Hamer added. "This partnership enables us to focus on our mission of patient education and research support while ensuring our communications reflect the high standards of both our members and our Foundation."

Together, the American Urological Association, the Urology Care Foundation, and Multiview are committed to enhancing support for urologists, urologic researchers, urologic allied healthcare professionals, and patients globally, further advancing urologic healthcare and patient education.
