How to Make More While Working Less Reselling Electronics


THE ART OF GETTING PEOPLE TO COME TO YOU TO SELL THEIR DEVICES...


Before I get into the whole process of how I get people to come to me, there is actually a story behind this...


So two years ago I was running around all over town and meeting people at all hours of the day. I was hustling.


Probably like most of you are doing now.


But I wasn't spending a whole lot of time at home, I was missing precious time with my wife and son.


Here is the thing though... I had quit my job a few months earlier.


I was free... or so I thought.


I had left my server job for a job inside of my own business. I was the only employee and I was running my ass off thinking I was going to lose the leads if I didn't meet them immediately.


One day, my wife asked me "Why can't you just meet people once or twice a day?"


I made all kinds of excuses about why I couldn't do that.


She told me to just try it out.


So I did.


Fast forward a couple of months...


I started buying way more devices, making more money, and I had WAY more time.


But why?


It's backwards thinking right?


I am less available so I can't get as many devices right?


Wrong.


Here are 3 things I actually uncovered by doing this...


I am the one in control because I have the money that they need. They need me more than I need them...


People respect the fact that you value your time. Many of them are cool with meeting at a specific time...


These people will come back and sell to you over and over again...


So here is the process I actually use to get people to come to me.


⬇[After they accept the offer] ⬇


"Awesome, I will be meeting a couple people today at 12PM & 4PM and the Starbucks on Dowlen. Which time works best for you?


Note: Only give them two options. This will force most people to choose an option without them fully thinking it through.


Once they have chosen their time I send them this message so I know nothing is going to be wrong when I get the phone...


"Great, I will see you then. When you come please be able to sign out of your iCloud/Google account so we can remove your info. Also, please bring a valid ID for the bill of sale. Can't wait to earn your business!"


This has been working well for me for years. So take this little nugget of info and apply it in your reselling business.


You want to make sure that you protect your own time.


After all. You created this business so that you could start having a bit more freedom and control in your life right?
