Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and medical history to develop personalized massage treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based massage therapy treatments, including various massage techniques and modalities, to help clients relax, reduce muscle tension, and promote overall wellness.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care and optimal treatment outcomes.

  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve wellness goals.

  • Educate clients on self-care techniques, stress management, and lifestyle modifications to support their well-being.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans and progress reports.

  • Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality and privacy.

  • Stay informed about advancements in massage therapy techniques and participate in professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Massage Therapist in Alberta, Canada, with current registration in good standing.

  • Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Proven experience in providing effective massage therapy treatments and promoting relaxation and well-being.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and work effectively within a team.

  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their wellness goals.

  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest research and trends in massage therapy.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage appointments efficiently and maintain accurate records.

  • Knowledge of additional modalities such as aromatherapy, reflexology, or hot stone massage is a plus.
