Terms and Conditions

All sales are final. Here’s why…

I, Tom Upton, Photographer, Owner of PhotoTrainer in Mountain View, CA 94043, teach custom photography training classes, sessions, and mentorships. These trainings are, with your purchase and understanding of these terms, prepared and scheduled for you. The service is held for you upon signing up. If you cannot attend the agreed upon class, please give me 48 hours notice. There will be a rescheduling fee of $35, and you will be given time credit for any other PhotoTrainer classes or trainings. All sales are final; Be certain you want to do this at this time.

If I have to cancel a class you will receive a full time credit for use at PhotoTrainer. I hold the right to reschedule class if fewer than two people are signed up for any given PhotoTrainer class or training. My PhotoTrainer education work is based on person-to-person teaching to accelerate your understanding of the Art, Camera Work and Technology of Photography. As such, I hold small classes tailored for high quality individual attention and the results that come from in-person advanced work. I prepare all of my classes and sessions ahead of time for every class and client.

When you sign up and pay, you understand that I hold that spot for you, preparing for you and your camera. I hold that time on the calendar for you. If you reschedule with less a week’s notice I likely cannot schedule another client. If you do not show up for a class or session without prior notice you forfeit the fee. Paid classes, private trainings and mentorships are to be used within six months or the fees are forfeited.

I understand that life happens: little kids get sick, cars crash, and adults break femurs. If you cannot attend the agreed upon class, please give me 48 hours notice. I will give you time credit and do my best at getting you the training you desire as quickly as possible.
