Dear CoreMed Members,

As we wrap up another year, we want to thank you for being part of the CoreMed community. Your trust and continued support make it possible for us to deliver accessible, reliable healthcare to families and businesses across Montana. We don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Over the past year, many of you have reached out with questions about the changing landscape of the healthcare marketplace. As we move into 2026, Marketplace premiums across the country are expected to rise again. Deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums are increasing as well, leaving many families paying more for plans they rarely use.

This is exactly why CoreMed was built differently. Our goal has always been to simplify healthcare, keep costs predictable, and give you direct access to care without the barriers of traditional insurance. To maintain the stability of your membership and ensure we can continue providing the level of care you expect, both our CoreMed Catastrophic and CoreMed Comprehensive programs will see a modest 3% adjustment in 2026. There are no new fees, no surprises, and no hidden changes — just a small update that allows us to keep your membership sustainable long-term.

Making the Most of Your CoreMed Membership in 2026

As we move into a new year, here are a few reminders to help you get the most value out of your membership:

Unlimited visits and direct access to your CoreMed provider
You never have to hesitate to reach out. Whether it's a quick question, a concern about symptoms, or a need for follow-up care, use the access you’re already paying for.
Same-week X-rays and affordable imaging
If you’re unsure about whether you need imaging, reach out to your provider. We can guide you through the process and help avoid unnecessary high-cost procedures.
Free generic medications through our pharmacy partners
Make sure you're taking advantage of the free prescription program included in your membership. It can significantly reduce your annual healthcare spending.
Routine labs included annually
If you're due for labs or haven’t had them this year, schedule them as you head into 2026.
Support for navigating healthcare decisions
If you or someone you know is reviewing options on the Marketplace, we’re always available to help compare costs, explain terminology, or walk through alternatives—even if they end up choosing a different plan.

A Note About 2026 Marketplace Changes

If you're still enrolled in a Marketplace plan outside of your CoreMed membership, or if you have family members exploring coverage, keep in mind:

Premiums are increasing in most states
Deductibles and maximum out-of-pocket limits continue to rise
Montana families will feel these changes more than previous years
Many households are now choosing hybrid models using CoreMed + cost-sharing instead of traditional insurance
