Myofunctional Therapy Evaluation and
Treatment Plan $99
This appointment will be 90 min.
At this appointment we will perform a detailed evaluation and discuss the treatment plan.
If you are a candidate for myofunctional therapy, you will have the option to begin myofunctional therapy at this appointment. In this case the consultation becomes complimentary.
Myofunctional Therapy Session Sessions will focus
on the following areas:
Breathwork
Active exercises to restore muscle function of the orofacial area
Passive exercises to habituate nasal breathing, proper tongue and mouth posture, and proper swallowing
Building patient awareness
Poor habit elimination
Pre-operative and post-operative exercises and stretches in cases where tongue tie releases are necessary
Myofunctional therapy is done in multiple session programs.
The number of sessions vary from patient to patient based on his or her needs.
Your therapist will discuss the appropriate number of sessions necessary to address your concerns at your Myofunctional Therapy Evaluation and Treatment Plan appointment.
