A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first tinting, LVL, lash & brow tint or brow sculpt treatment at Hazelwood, or if more than 6 months have passed since your last treatment with us.

A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment for all tinting, LVL and HD Brow treatments if:

you are a new client

your medical history has changed

you are pregnant

you have had a reaction previously

it has been a long period since your last tint treatment

If you are unsure, please contact the salon before booking.

If you experience any itching, swelling, redness, irritation or discomfort following your tint test, please contact the salon and seek medical advice where appropriate.

Unfortunately we would be unable to proceed with tinting treatments if a reaction occurs, however your therapist will always be happy to discuss alternative treatment options with you.

For the first 24–48 hours after treatment, we recommend avoiding:

excessive heat or steam

swimming

oil based products

rubbing the treated area

We primarily shape brows using premium hot wax designed for sensitive facial areas and client comfort. In some cases, a small amount of tweezing may also be used for precision finishing.

Tint colour is always selected carefully with your therapist to suit your skin tone, hair colour and desired result.

Tint may appear slightly darker immediately after treatment but usually softens naturally within a few days.

Yes. Please avoid retinol, AHAs, exfoliating acids or strong active skincare around the brow area for several days before waxing treatments, as this may increase skin sensitivity.

Contact lenses will need to be removed during treatment.
