Step Two: Skills Assessment

Answer the questions below to the best of you ability.

A few rules to follow:

1. Attempt all questions - here we are testing your research and critical thinking skills.

Please note that this is an open-book assessment, and you are welcome to use AI tools and conduct research to assist you in answering the questions. However, simply copying and pasting responses from AI without rephrasing will result in disqualification, so ensure that your answers are in your own words.

1. You are the assistant to the CEO of Pepsi. They asked you to arrange a meeting with the COO and CFO, both of which have assistants. What additional information do you need? How would you execute this request? *

4. a. You are a social media outreach assistant. Your client sells fitness gear and apparel for western women 20 years and over. Here is their IG handle: @bombshellsportswear. They use social media for their marketing. Your goal is to reach out to influencers on IG for gifted or paid collaborations. You are asked to create a sheet that tracks information about the IG accounts you are reaching out to as well as your progress. Please construct this sheet and fill in 5 influencers you would reach out to for a collaboration. **Submit your response as a google sheet.** *

4. b. Now, please formulate the message you would send to the influencers you are reaching out to from the scenario above. *

5. Your client is a coach with a huge following. The entire team is working hard to prepare for next weeks course launch. Your job is to manage her course membership on Kajabi. One day, your client asks you, "Does Kajabi integrate with Zapier and/or Webhooks? If so, how and which one is better?". Please formulate your response below. *

6.You are the assistant to a car dealership owner. At the beginning of your shift, she sends you the following message:

Hey,

Can you help me organize this sheet? I need you to group the data by item, and I also want see the total cost of each region. Lastly, I want to know the grand total of cost.

7. Your client is a small business owner. She sells "Worthy Wands" on Etsy. She heard that Shopify is more user friendly and will help her scale her business. Can you please provide her with some resources on how she can 1) Create a Shopify account. 2) Show case and sell her products on Shopify. *

8. Your client wants you to book a flight to New York. They would like their departure date to be June 6th and they would like to return home on June 14th for their cousin's wedding. Please leave the flight itinerary below. *

9. Your client wants to build an affiliate program and asked you to recommend two platforms. Create a google document with your recommendations and why? Please name your google doc as follows, "First name_Last name_VA Work Sample Affiliate Program". Then paste your link in the answer space below. *

10. Your client wants to publish a book on Amazon. He requested that you create a tutorial for him on how to do so. Please record a Loom explaining the steps required and share the link in the answer space below. Your Loom video should not exceed 2-4 mins. *
