Stress and the demands of everyday living have us all trimming the edges to stay on track. We skip our workouts, sleep less, grab food on the run, all in an effort to keep up with the hectic pace of living.

This blog post was inspired by a conversation I had with my new friend and colleague, Mary 2.0. She was talking about the way a Sherpa leads a hiking group up mountains, and of course, I related it back to goal-setting and weight loss, because that’s what I do!

Losing and regaining can seem like a never-ending cycle. You follow all the rules and work very very hard, only to wind up right back where you started, or worse. It’s disheartening.
