We have spent a lifetime studying the Collie — not just loving the breed, but learning it. Understanding what makes a Collie correct, what makes one last, and what makes one truly exceptional takes years of honest observation, mentorship, and a willingness to keep asking better questions.

At Jolis Collies, we breed with intention and measure with discipline. Every pairing begins with a written purpose — a clear goal for what that combination is meant to strengthen or refine. We evaluate our dogs not by impression alone, but through structured, documented assessment that follows each dog from puppyhood through maturity. We want to know not just what a dog looks like today, but what it consistently produces over time.

We believe the Collie at its best is complete — correct in structure, sound in movement, stunning in expression, and steady in temperament. We are not chasing one quality at the expense of another. We are building dogs that demonstrate what the breed is fully capable of when every piece is considered together.

Our program includes both Rough and Smooth Collies, bred together strategically to strengthen genetic diversity, improve structural consistency, and preserve the working intelligence that has always defined the breed. Every health test, every evaluation, every breeding decision is part of a longer conversation — one we intend to keep having for decades to come.
