Rachel Wilhide PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

I have many passions in the field of physical therapy and have diverse clinical experiences in orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric rehabilitation. I began my career working with persons with neurological injuries in an international center for Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). I went on to work as a traveling physical therapist, treating a variety of populations/diagnoses from the small towns of Colorado to the big cities of California. With my breadth of experiences, I have developed a love for integrating my orthopedic and neurological mindsets with my passion for holistic wellness. I love to incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and nutrition into my practice. I believe strongly in manual therapy techniques and functional strengthening to achieve meaningful goals. I enjoy treating in non-traditional clinical settings including the home environment, local parks, beaches, etc.

I consider myself a life-long athlete, as I grew up playing many sports, with soccer being my first and longest love. Now, I like to think of myself as a weekend warrior and enjoy getting outside and being active in any capacity - running, hiking, yoga, climbing, backpacking, biking, and after moving to the Beach Cities, I have added surfing and beach volleyball to my list!

If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out to set up a complementary 15 minute phone consult.
