Event Overview

The Brunch & Learn Expo Business Resource Trade Show was designed to create a powerful platform connecting entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses with local municipalities, government agencies, and business development organizations.

The event brought together over 2,000 attendees seeking access to government contracting opportunities, certifications, funding programs, and strategic partnerships that can accelerate business growth.

Hosted in partnership with the City of Lauderhill and Broward County Public Schools Economic Development Opportunities & Compliance Department, the event served as a unique opportunity for business owners to engage directly with government leaders and procurement representatives.

Diana Agenor's Role

Diana Agenor served as the Event Producer and organizer behind the Brunch & Learn Expo, personally developing the event concept, outreach strategy, and partnership framework that brought the initiative to life.

  • Designing the full business resource trade show concept

  • Developing the event program and agenda structure

  • Conducting direct outreach meetings with participating agencies and organizations

  • Recruiting municipalities and economic development organizations to participate

  • Coordinating partnerships with the City of Lauderhill and Broward County Public Schools

A Historic Multi-County Collaboration

One of the most unique aspects of the event was the collaboration between Broward County and Miami-Dade County government agencies in a single event location.

Traditionally, business resource events tend to feature organizations from a single county. However, this event successfully brought together representatives from both Broward County and Miami-Dade County, creating a broader network of opportunities for entrepreneurs.
