So how'd I do it? I went back upstream. I answered all of the phone calls in my practice; many of which did not go well. But I noticed something. The future of my practice depended on this first phone call. This first phone call is the first step in the patient's journey to getting them on the schedule and are prepared to arrive, pay and stay. Then, there needed to be systems and processes set up throughout the rest of their journey to make sure they complete a plan of care and do our marketing for us!
