With the Raspberry Pi-based B-Nimis MC-Pi series, Berghof brings high-performance CODESYS quad-core controllers to the market as the perfect solution for the implementation of your IOT, motion and automation projects.
With cycle times reaching down to 500 μs, the real-time quad-core CODESYS B-Nimis MC-Pi controller offers the perfect balance between computing power and costs.
We have worked hard to ensure that the MC-Pi product family is perfectly integrated in the Berghof I/O portfolio via a standard EtherCAT fieldbus as well as plug & play expandability to guarantee that you can choose from a large variety of extension modules.

Compact packages that pack a punch, comprehensive and fast: PLC from Berghof’s B-Fortis family.
The integration of functions from numerous individual components in a single device provides you with two key benefits:
1) You save costs because you only need one device instead of several modules – and, of course, this also makes project planning and programming significantly easier.
2) In addition, compared to modular product solutions, the general workload, for example, in terms of logistics, assembly and testing, is significantly lower. At the same time, having one compact PLC as the central heart and brain of the entire system ensures improved functional reliability due to the faster data communication.

Safety controllers based on CODESYS PLC and EtherCAT
A high degree of automation increasingly requires the flexible integration of individual safety functions, which makes a programmable safety controller truly state-of-the-art when it comes to future-oriented, competitive machines and systems. The innovative and integrated safety solution from Berghof includes a freely programmable CODESYS safety PLC and a safety I/O module according to the requirements of safety standards such as IEC 61508 SIL 3 and DIN EN ISO 13849-1 PLe.
Modular I/O-system
Select from our 20 EtherCAT® extension modules, all of which can be connected directly to our B-Nimis MC-Pi controllers and have UL certification. Alternatively, they can also be used remotely on any EtherCAT® controller via the bus coupler module.
Compact I/O-system
Perfectly adapted: B-Fortis CC extension modules from Berghof. Our expansion modules for the B-Fortis compact PLC are the perfect example of how you can pack a lot of power into a minimum amount of space. See for yourself!
Web terminals
Smooth operation and a secure data connection to the connected systems can only be ensured with high-performance hardware. Ethernet as the communication interface, a USB host and an SD card slot are all offered as standard in Berghof’s operating panels – something that is far from common in this class of products. The Pro devices with a resistive touch display cut a fine figure in any environment with their high-quality, slim frame. The Prime devices with a capacitive touch display do away with the frame entirely. In addition, all B-Primis devices are equipped with a clean front .
