The Road to ESSENCE Tour Stops in Los Angeles for a Conversation on Black Liberation

The activist organizationSisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, in collaboration with theGlobal Black Economic Forum(GBEF), hosted theRoad to ESSENCEL.A. tour event on Sunday, May 25, at The Gathering Spot. May 25 is significant as it is recognized as the founding date of Afro-American Unity by Malcolm X. The free tour event layers conversations around Black joy, Black liberation, and Black equity through a celebration of culture and community in Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Houston.
