Why this works matter to me?

My interest in brain health did not begin in a textbook. It began through personal experience.

I have watched close family members live with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Seeing how these conditions affect not only the individual, but the entire family, left a lasting impression on me.

At the same time, I was navigating my own health challenges. I experienced gut and mental health issues while repeatedly being told that everything looked “normal.” Like many people, I knew something was not quite right but struggled to find clear answers.

Those experiences led me to study nutritional and environmental medicine and to look more deeply at how the gut, brain and lifestyle are connected.

Science became my map.

Today, as the Australian Ambassador for the Food for the Brain Foundation, my work is focused on prevention, supporting people early, gently and intelligently, before problems progress.
