“ABOUT THE AUTHOR”

The author of 1-800-HEAVEN is the Holy Spirit of Promise. He was imparted to us at our surrender to Christ at the cross. At Pentecost in the upper room (Acts 1:Acts 2:1-4), 120 believers were filled with the Spirit of the living God, imparted for our spiritual growth. He and He alone can testify (teach) of Jesus and the whole counsel of God, John 14:26 “But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

Yielding to the Teacher, receiving every gift that is in Him, seeking His face in prayer, and building our lives to form a living and powerful relationship with the living God make us vessels usable by the hand of God.

I, Lou Campos, am just a scribe. It has taken my Teacher 55 years to build that servant's heart in me. Believe me, I have failed Him terribly at times, and I have gladly received my correction. Am I perfect? Far from it, but He has equipped me to perform this task to help the Body of Christ grow. There is a song that is dear to my heart, “I surrender all.” And I have gladly. So, with that said, The Teacher offers you 1-800-HEAVEN.

In 1972, Louis Campos experienced a profound spiritual awakening that forever changed the course of his life. After earning a Bachelor of Theology, he continued his education in what he calls the “School of the Spirit,” where trials and triumphs deepened his walk with God. Louis lives by the principle, “You have freely received, now freely give,” dedicating his life to sharing the wisdom and love of Christ with others. His mission is to inspire believers to grow in faith, pursue spiritual maturity, and walk boldly in the purpose God has set before them.
