GOD IS CALLING

If God were to call my name, how would I answer? Would I react like Samual and think that someone else was calling me? Probably, ya, maybe until I realized that since I didn’t hear an audible voice, it must be God, since it was a still small voice, tender and loving yet with great authority. Yes, Lord, here I am. What would you have your servant do? Over the years, it has become easier for me to hear God’s voice, and even more comforting to know that He can call on me to do something He deems essential. I am not alone in these callings; thousands of us seek God’s face daily to be an able and willing vessel that He can use.

Have you ever called 1-800-HEAVEN? I did this morning, very early, because there are things on my heart that need some clarity. It isn’t something personal but spiritual, in that it must be discerned spiritually. Sometimes there is not a simple answer that comes out of His word, but deeper in a troubled heart that longs for the Holy Spirit to shed light upon. When Jesus said He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life, He meant that everything we long for is found in Him. There was a song years ago that I heard; it goes like this: “Is that all there is, is that all there is, my friend, then let's keep dancing, and have a ball, if that’s all there is.” It reflects a lost understanding of where that person's life is heading. Unfortunately, many out in this unforgiving world have lost all hope and find themselves without direction. Yet there is hope if you're willing to call 1-800-HEAVEN and communicate your concerns to the Only Way to heaven, because Jesus will answer you with Truth that passes all understanding. Once you surrender to His unwavering love, He will impart to you eternal life.
