HELLO ANYBODY THERE
Hello, hello, anybody there? No way, Jose, that never happens when I call upon the Lord because I know that He hears me. It is so comforting to be able to ask Him, who knows all things —past, present, and future —what is going on? Lately, the world's circumstances have been radical, creating a great deal of uncertainty. I know that confusion is not of God; that is Satan’s tactic to bring fear into hearts. And believe me, I see FEAR on Christians' faces and hear uncertainty in their conversations. The only answer to why is that many are not well established in their belief system of Christ crucified, buried, and His glorious resurrection. What happened to people when they found themselves at the foot of the cross? First, they got there because they had reached the end of themselves, and they understood that they needed something more than anyone or anything could give them. The Holy Spirit knocked on the door of their heart; they heard, opened it, and received Him into their existence, becoming a new creation in Christ Jesus. But what did that mean? We became dead to this world, yet alive in Christ. But what does that mean? Simply this: nothing in this world has any importance or effect on our spiritual life —NOTHING. That is where the rubber meets the road. Understand this: we need to come to grips with it and believe that now we are truly a new creation in Christ. We are sons and daughters of the King of Kings, the creator of all things, and He is and always will be our Father. If you are what the Word tells us who we are, who can be against us, or what can overwhelm us in any way. Worldly circumstances are just that, WORLDLY CIRCUMSTANCES, and has nothing to do with us. The word of God is clear: be in the world but not part of it. Please don’t participate in its death. In these closing days of this world, it has become critical that we start living the full counsel of God. Not more sitting on the fence or having one foot in the world and the other foot dipped in the water of truth. No more being lukewarm. I pray that this writing challenges your heart and encourages you to consider your promise and commitment to Christ. For a special reading to show you that God is not playing games, read Acts 5:1-15. READ IT CAREFULLY
